Eligibility Criteria

The Government of Punjab has announced the launch of a Ration Card welfare program for families across the province. This initiative aims to support 1.5 million families by helping them purchase essential household groceries. Under the program, eligible households will receive PKR 10,000 per month to meet their grocery needs. Applicants are advised to review the eligibility criteria and requirements below before applying for the Ration Card.

Who is Eligible for the CM Punjab Ration Card?

According to available details, the CM Punjab Ration Card will be issued to deserving low-income families across Punjab. Priority will be given to households that have already received PKR 10,000 financial assistance under the Nigehban Ramzan Package, as these families are already registered and their data has been verified. This approach allows the government to save time and deliver support to eligible families more efficiently.

Families who have not benefited from the Nigehban Ramzan Package can also apply for the Ration Card by registering with the Punjab Socioeconomic Registry (PSER). However, preference will remain with previously verified households. In the initial phase, the Punjab Government plans to provide Ration Cards to 1.5 million families across the province.
